Q: What brands do you offer?

Q: What materials are your blinds made of?

We offer aluminum, faux wood, and wood blinds. Aluminum blinds are sleek and modern and are also the most affordable option. Faux wood blinds offer the look and feel of real wood without the added maintenance. While wood is the most expensive of the three types of materials blinds can be made of, they are still affordable and won’t break the bank!

Q: What colors do your blinds come in?

Our blinds come in a variety of color and stain options, including white, cream, gray, brown, and black. We can even custom match the existing wood in your home to help create a more cohesive look. 

Q: Do you have samples and are the colors accurate?

Some manufacturers offer the ability to purchase samples. We do not control the production of these samples and therefore, the color accuracy. However, we know that the manufacturers do their best to make sure that their color swatches online and their physical samples are as accurate as possible. If you schedule a free in-home consultation, we’ll bring our samples out for you to view in your home at no cost to you! 

Q: Do you offer cordless or motorized blinds?

Yes, we offer both options. Cords can pose a strangulation risk. That is why we highly recommend cordless blinds for homes with pets and small children. 

Q: Can blinds be hung on bay windows?

Yes, blinds can be installed on bay windows. Getting the correct measurements is very important to ensure your window treatment does not collide in the corners. Our experts will take proper measurements and help you choose the right blinds for your bay window. 

Q: Do you offer mini blinds?

Yes. The brands we sell offer a variety of slat sizes, from mini blinds for a sleek and modern look, to wider slat widths perfect for more traditional styles. Our design experts will be able to help you decide which style of blinds is right for your design style. 

Q: Do you offer vertical blinds?

We offer both vertical blinds and vertical panels or panes (which have wide vertical slats or panels). The vertical slat design is perfect for sliding glass doors and large windows as vertical blinds distribute weight better across the window. You can also get vertical blinds that match your regular (horizontal) custom blinds. 

Q: Do you offer consultations, including in-home? 

Yes! Elevated Views offers a variety of complimentary consultations. You can come into our showroom to meet with design experts, or you can schedule a virtual video call. We also offer in-person, in-home consultations. All of our consultations come with a free price quote!

Q: Do you offer a military discount?

Yes! Elevated Views offers a 10% military discount to all active duty and retired military and first responders.

Q: Do I need to take my own measurements for custom blinds?

No! Our team of experts will do the work for you to ensure that accurate measurements are taken. Then our design experts will help direct you to the blinds that best fit your window. 

Q: Do you offer installation services?

Yes! We schedule an installation appointment when your custom blinds are ready to be installed (typically about three to four weeks after your order is placed). Our installation experts will ensure that your blinds are hung properly and safely. We do not subcontract installers–all of our employees, including our installers, are employed by Elevated Views. 

Q: How do I clean my blinds?

We recommend dusting your blinds on a regular basis with a soft cloth. If you need to clean off more stuck-on grime, you can clean aluminum and faux wood blinds with a bit of mild dish detergent and water. Be sure to wipe your blinds down with clean water to remove all soap. You can also soak faux wood blinds in your bathtub or rinse them off with your hose for a deeper clean. We do not recommend getting wood blinds wet, as that will cause your blinds to warp and/or discolor. Wood blinds will need to be oiled every once in a while to keep the wood well conditioned, especially in our dry Colorado climate.
